Ways to Give

There are many ways to show support for The Country School. Donations may be in the form of monetary gifts, extended multi-year pledges, stocks, charitable remainder trusts, just to mention a few. We are always seeking to develop contacts with foundations and corporate sponsors as well. Our school also relies on the generous donation of time in the form of volunteerism. We have over 100 volunteers each year to help with our student programs, fundraisers, and more.

Annual Giving

The Annual Fund is a program of voluntary giving that enables our school to make up the difference between what it collects in tuition and fees, and what it spends yearly on educating students. Because of the low ratio of students to teachers we have maintained since our founding, our tuition, like that of comparable independent schools, does not cover the full cost of each student's education.

We count on our parents to contribute as generously as their individual circumstances allow to the tax-deductible Annual Fund Program. We encourage every parent to make a gift, and every year we aim for 100% parent participation.

Guardian Program

Becoming a Guardian at The Country School may be one of the most rewarding decisions that a donor may make. Our Guardian program pairs children with great potential but underprivileged circumstances with generous individual donors to enable each child to receive a quality education in our nurturing yet academically challenging environment. Our Guardians have come from a variety of fields – from the NBA to real estate development. The common quality of our Guardians has been their commitment to offer a helping hand to a young person in need.

Get Involved

We believe everyone has something to offer for the success of our school. Volunteering in the classroom, sponsoring a table at our Gala, donating funds for a new fountain in the garden or establishing an endowment for financial aid – all are welcomed and valuable contributions to The Country School's success now and into the future.
